NextGen Public Training
NextGen Public Training
As the Court has previously announced, we are preparing to implement new case filing software called NextGen. For attorneys, the filing process won’t change, but the login process will. NextGen comes with a sign-on process known as Central Sign-On (CSO). CSO allows a user to sign-on one time each day and be able to access all NextGen courts in which he/she practices. All federal courts are converting to (or have already converted to) NextGen. This means that attorneys only have to maintain one account for all NextGen courts, rather than separate accounts for each court.
The Middle District of Georgia Bankruptcy Court is hosting a webex to provide attorneys more info on NextGen and to provide instructions on what they need to do to prepare for NextGen. We will answer the following questions:
1) What is NextGen?
2) How does this affect me?
3) What do I need to do to prepare?
4) When do we go live on NextGen?
This session will be conducted on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. and registration is required. We encourage all attorneys to attend, as well as anyone in the attorney’s office that files in CM/ECF on the attorney's behalf. While we encourage you to attend the live webex, if you are unable to attend a recording of the webex will be made available on the Court's website.
